Eye Roll-On: Dark Evenings Don’t Need to Mean Dark Circles
Eye roll-ons are one of the best ways to mitigate those dark patches as well as leaving the skin under the eyes feeling fresher. Let’s look at some of the key questions we get asked about eye-roll on and how it can help you look and feel a little brighter this winter.
The nights might getting darker, but that doesn’t mean your under-eye circles need to. There’s nothing that washes out a face more than tired eyes, but busy lifestyles and a lack of sleep can often leave even the healthiest men feeling a bit drawn.
What is the best product for dark circles?
Are eye rollers effective?
Eye rollers are effective only if they are made of the right stuff. It’s important to choose one that contains ingredients that are designed to help this specific issue.
If you are worried about your eyes appearing aged as well as struggling with dark circles, our Age Defence Eye Roll-On which uses all the same fantastic ingredients from the rest of our Age Defence range (it even won the GQ Grooming Award for Best New Eye Treatment in 2019 so, you know, it’s pretty damn good). With rosemary, echinacea and vitamin E, you’ll be giving your eyes the best chance for a youthful brightness.
Is it OK to moisturiser on eyelids?
The skin around your eyes is quite fragile so it’s good to stay away from anything that may irritate if you can avoid it. The skin in this area is actually a bit thinner than on the rest of your face as it has fewer oil glands, which means it can dry out more quickly and needs that extra hit of moisture.
Take care around the eyes at all times. Even if you apply product around the eyes be careful to ensure it doesn’t get in to the eye itself (ouch). We recommend an eye roll-on for more concentrated care and also because it leaves your eyes feeling that much brighter and ready for the day.
How do you get rid of dark circles permanently?
There is no set way to get rid of dark circles permanently, but there are a few small steps you can take to give them a better chance. Fatigue is one actionable thing that exacerbates dark circles, so try your best to get a good night’s sleep (easier said than done, we know). Straining your eyes can also make dark circles more prominent, so try to reduce your screen time if at all possible.
Dehydration should also get your attention. As we mentioned, the skin around your eyes is more prone to dryness, so use a good quality eye roll-on daily alongside your regular face moisturiser to maximise the chance of brighter eyes.
How can I tighten the skin under my eyes?
As we age, our skin loses its elasticity and starts to sag. A lot of men notice this in the under-eye area, which is why it’s good to start using an eye roll-on when you begin to notice the early signs of aging around the eyes.
Our Age Defence Eye Roll-On has been specially formulated to reduce the appearance of fine line, dark circles, and puffiness – leaving the skin around the eyes looking brighter and feeling smooth and nourished
